Marie Grindlay of Second Chance Cheekye Ranch

With the help of a passionate group of animal loving volunteers, Second Chance Cheekye Ranch aims to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome horses in need. Volunteers make it possible for SCCR to operate and the Hooves & Hearts fundraiser, happening June 15th from 10-3, helps maintain the ranch and care for the horses. It was great chatting with tour guide and advocate, Marie Grindlay about her symbiotic relationship with horses and the level of care that goes into the important work they do at SCCR.
