Multiple reports of suspicious male in Brackendale leads to arrest, and jail time

Multiple reports of a suspicious male in Brackendale recently have led to an arrest, and jail time of a local man.

Squamish RCMP say they received a report on September 11th of a man in the back yard of a property on Ross Road. A witness was able to provide a detailed description which matched a second witness who saw the male at another property, also on Ross Road.

Police were able to locate the man after a brief foot pursuit, and arrest him. 39 year old Joshua Lundstrom who had been living in Squamish was found to have stolen property on him and was charged with multiple property offences.

Lundstrom appeared in North Vancouver court on September 17th and was convicted of several offences including Break and Enter and sentenced to 2 years in jail.
