The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) has confirmed the up coming by-election date as October 28th 2017. The election will fill the vacant position left after the passing of Councillor Andrée Janyk.

Candidate information will be available from August 24th and can be found by clicking here or in person from Municipal Hall. Nominations will be accepted from September 12th to the 22nd. Polling station locations and more information will be made available in the coming weeks.

In order to be able to vote in the municipal election you must either live within the RMOW, or own property in the RMOW, but live elsewhere in the province. You must also be a Canadian citizen. If you own property in Whistler but live elsewhere in BC call 604-932-5535 or visit Municipal Hall to confirm if you are already on the Non-Resident Property Electors list.
