Whistler-Blackcomb has announced it’s pass lineup for the 2017-18 season.

Locals will see some changes now that Vail Resorts owns the mountain facility. Passes range from $1,229 for a ‘Unlimited Whistler Blackcomb Season Pass’, $1,117 for the new ‘Epic Pass’, $759 for a 10 day Edge Card and $399 for a 5 day Edge Card.

Dave Brownlie, Chief Operating Officer of Whistler-Blackcomb says they’re excited to offer guests “more options than ever before with the introduction of the Epic Pass”. Brownlie says “we’re thrilled to give our guests the option of true worldwide access that offers skiing at 45 iconic resorts, including coast-to-coast skiing in North America”.

The Unlimited Season Pass includes unrestricted and unlimited access to the resort, along with 50% off winter tickets at any of Vail’s 13 other ski resorts. You’ll also receive two discounted bring-a-friend tickets, exclusive perks at Whistler-Blackcomb including 20% off food and hot drinks, up to 20% off at select retail locations, $50 off select Snow School programs and more. If you purchase the pass by April 9th, 2017 you’ll also get a PEAK 2 PEAK 360 Sightseeing Pass for this summer.

The Epic Pass allows unlimited and unrestricted skiing from opening day to closing day. Full access to Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin, Park City, Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood, Afton Alps, Mt. Brighton, Wilmot Mountain, Whistler-Blackcomb and Perisher in Australia for the 2017-2018 season. The pass also grants limited access to Arlberg in Austria; Les 3 Vallées, Paradiski and Tignes-Val D’Isere in France; Skirama Dolomiti in Italy and 4 Vallées in Switzerland.

Stowe Mountain will also be integrated into season pass products for the 2017-2018 winter season, subject to the acquisition closing.

For those opting for Edge Cards, a 10 day card will allow the user to access any of Vail’s resorts for 3 of those days. With the 5 day card, users can access any Vail mountain resort for 2 of the 5 days. You can also purchase an Edge Card at a slightly reduced rate that has holiday restrictions. If you purchase an Edge Card by April 9th, 2017 you will also receive unlimited skiing early season at Whistler-Blackcomb from opening day to December 15th, 2017, plus a PEAK 2 PEAK 360 Sightseeing ticket for use this summer.
