The Village of Pemberton is considering a temporary use permit for the Pemberton Music Festival.

The permit is up for debate during January 17th’s council meeting and will include discussion on the possible renewal of the three year temporary use permit to facilitate the use of nine pieces of land for the four day festival in July of 2017, 2018 and 2019.

The uses of the land includes stages, along with facilities (food, beverages, toilets, garbage), campgrounds with approximately 6,300 sites, and parking with over 1,100 parking spaces. Land within the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District jurisdiction will also be used by the festival.

The event will begin on a Thursday and run through midnight on Sunday, with specific dates to be announced. You can find more details on the permit at Pemberton.ca
