Safety inspection and repair is ongoing in municipal parks, the Valley Trail and the Village, while spring clean-up is now underway in the Village and on the Valley Trail.

Closures

The RMOW has closed all non-essential facilities and suspended most programs and events until further notice.

Closures include these facilities: Meadow Park Sports Centre, Whistler Public Library and municipal hall. The following outdoor areas are also closed until further notice to encourage social distancing and discourage groups from gathering: all parks including beaches, lawns and courts, the Skate Park, and Train Wreck trail.

Whistler Public Library

While the library building is closed, the library team is still available to help access the many digital resources. Whistler Public Library cards can be used to download e-books, audiobooks, magazines, newspapers, music and more. There is also a host of digital services for kids and teens, like books, audiobooks and more. The Whistler Public Library is also bringing many of its events geared for adults online. Access all these resources at www.whistlerlibrary.ca.
