The Sea to Sky SPCA has a new location.

The organisation has moved into their long awaited location in the industrial park in Squamish. They leave behind a mobile home that limited how many animals the non-profit was able to house.

General Manager Krista Unser says the new facility is bright, open and clean and will allow them to offer workshops, kids camps and birthday parties. A BC SPCA certified local trainer will also host puppy classes in a community room that can also be rented out by the public. Yoga with cats is also on the horizon.

Unser says everyone is welcome to see the new facility; “even if you’re not – you know looking to adopt, and you’re just kind of curious to see what the new shelter looks like please do. Everybody’s welcome and we’re really, just really really excited, and its been a long time coming”.

This week the location is open tomorrow through Sunday, with extended hours moving forward. Unser says they will be open more during the week than they ever have been. The facility is now located at 1005B Industrial Way, Squamish.
