Taylor Swift Debuts At No. 1 With ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ Taylor Swift’s latest full-length re-recording is sitting at the top.  ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version),’ is Swift’s second No. 1 debut in 2023 and her 13th album of all time to claim the top spot.  According to Billboard, the album moved 1.653 million units in its first week. Physical sales comprised 1.359 million of that total.   It was Swift’s largest sales week ever for traditional albums, beating out her previous peak from ‘1989’s’ initial run in 2014.
