Disney fan? You’re going to be pretty excited about the news that was announced yesterday.

Chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company, Robert Iger, took to twitter to confirm and tease the launch of Disney+

Disney+ will be a subscription service much like Netflix, hosting an abundance of Disney films and shows. If you thought Netflix was already fairly affordable, you’ll be pleased to know that so far Disney+ is priced at nearly half the cost of Netflix per month, only setting you back $6.99/month or $69.99 per year! You’re probably wondering when this amazing service will be available so before I get your hopes too high, Disney+ is first set to launch on November 12th, 2019 in the United States.

Don’t worry though, rumour has it though Canada will see Disney+ in 2020. As the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella said, “Even miracles take a little time.”
