Squamish Terminals has been sold to Western Stevedoring, who has purchased 100% of the facility from Norwegian based Grieg Star. The sale was completed on May 10th.

The major break-bulk terminal provides cargo handling services to markets globally. Western Stevedoring’s President, Brad Eshleman says the acquisition expands the service options currently provided to their customers with greater capacity for the coordination of efficient service and consolidation of cargo.

Stevedoing says the hard work and dedication of the Grieg Star organization over the years has impressed them more than once; “We have full confidence in the team at Squamish Terminals and look forward to building on their long-standing relationships with customers, partners and the community.” Grieg Star had been the owner of Squamish Terminals for almost half a century.

Western Stevedoring has been in business for more than 70 years and is owned by Carrix Inc., headquartered in Seattle, Washington.
