The Sunshine Coast School District (SD46) has closed ALL schools to students in the district today (Feb 9). Buses are not running. Friday will be a ProD day.

Mamquam Elementary in Squamish says the school is open, however their cross country field trip is cancelled today.

The Sea to Sky School District (SD48) says the following buses are not running:

Bus #24 in Squamish is not running this morning (Squamish Valley Road – Cheakamus).

The bus in Britannia Beach will wait at the Fire Hall until 8:05am to collect kids.

The ‘Red Bus’ in Whistler is not running this morning (Spring Creek).

The Sea to Sky School District says schools will be open for the arrival of any students who may attend schools today.

Due to the significant inclement weather parents and guardians have been advised by their school principals that you can keep your child at home at your discretion.

Students not in attendance will not be penalized for their absence on their record of attendance.

If you do keep your child at home, please phone the school so that the information is documented to help ensure all students are accounted for.
