The application period for the 2017 Community Enrichment Program in Whistler has opened.

Funding is available to local non-profit organizations and societies that benefit the community through environment, social service, community service, recreation and sport, or arts and culture.

The deadline to apply for the funding is 4 p.m. February 15th. Applicants will be required to make presentations to Council on March 7th. The amount given to each selected organization varies but can only be up to 50% of a program’s total cost.

Over $123,000 was awarded in 2016 to qualifying organizations. Including the Get Bear Smart Society, North Shore Schizophrenia Society, Whistler Multicultural Network and Whistler Forest School Society.
