Squamish Terminals raised $2,700 from ticket sales and concessions at their screening of ‘A Plastic Ocean’ at the Eagle Eye Theatre last week.

The documentary that highlights the damage being caused to the world’s oceans was hosted by Squamish Terminals as a fundraiser for three local organizations; The Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue, Squamish Paddling Club and the Squamish Watershed Society. Each of the organizations will receive $900.

Squamish Terminals is thanking the public for supporting the fundraiser and says they ‘hope that people took away the message of what we can all do to protect our oceans’.

If you missed the screening but still want to see the documentary, you can find it on iTunes.
